Waffle was a weblog that ran for nine years and five days from 2003 to 2012.
The last post has been written and comments will be closed by the end of March 2012.
The author of Waffle, some guy in Sweden, also occasionally writes stmts.net.

IMO the new icon is off to the left somewhere, the new gradients, grayscale icons, and checkboxes are below the baseball handle, and the traffic light is about centered (but I switched them back anyway).
I’m just annoyed that they haven’t fixed the basic UI issues, like the fact that editing song info is modal.

So you sort by Artist, select a track, Get Info, you type something different into Artist and then you focus the main window again. Does the track re-sort? If so, will the track list jump to the new position? If not so, when will the track re-sort? Will there still be an OK/Cancel pair of buttons? Will there be Revert? If Prev/Next is still around and you rearrange the track, will they still go where they used to go or to the live position?
I wouldn’t be surprised if it was modal first for simplicity, and now they simply just don’t want to deal with fixing it.

The vertical ‘traffic lights’ are waaay off the left of this graph in my opinion – complete usability disaster.

rb: It’s the same color it’s ever been, although I do have a laptop so I sit closer to a brighter screen.
