reddit + server move = brutal pain, apparently.

reddit users looking for Thursday’s post will be granted a static copy to soothe the server and calm down technical support who saw load averages dipping when they disabled waffle. (Thus the 403s.) If you have found your way around here anyway (it’s not particularly hard), feel free to comment as you see fit. I just wanted to stop the majority of the traffic.

  2. They did note the traffic decline and called off the hounds, as it were. It was good that this happened though. I’ll need to reevaluate my use of wp-cache.
