Apple is now “still wrestling with” the issue of third-party apps on the iPhone. In January, the news was that apparently, Cingular’s West Coast network could go down if a third-party app messed up. (For the technically impaired, it should be noted that that’s complete bullshit.)

  1. I noticed that quote, too. My suspicion is that developers eager to work with the iPhone needn’t give up hope quite yet.
