My friend Shawn is, beyond an enormous fan of the word ‘pants’ (I am in no way making this up), also one of several geniuses working at the University of Pennsylvania. (It’s a bit more complicated than that, but it’s the gist.) Shawn is an interaction designer, and I link less to his wisdom than I should. Like this article about “slabs”, like the new-style Start menu I practically lived in in XP. Needless to say, I agree with him.
