A short status update: My ISP connection is royally fucked, and has been since yesterday. It’s on full throttle for 10-25 seconds, and then completely drops out for one to two minutes. 90% packet loss. I’m currently siphoning off of my neighbor’s 802.11g (WiFi, AirPort) connection with poor signal quality and excruciatingly slow (but in comparison extremely reliable) internet access. This is why I’m not on my many IMs - I haven’t gotten a life or anything yet. It’s also why there’s not an alternate white style sheet here yet like I said it would.
Update (Dec 8):Now it works again. I’ve gotten the new modem, which was of the wrong model (for another of my ISP’s services) but that doesn’t matter as the connection seems to have been fixed on their end. Actually, the amber light stopped blinking the exact instant I realized that I got the wrong modem model.
To do: White theme - I haven’t forgotten. (UTI is up again now, by the way.)
